The Sleeve

The Ball

A matching ball that mates with a seating surface on the bottom of the sleeve.

Improper cycle timing can damage the bottom hole spring, so proper design and application are crucial. The Ball and Sleeve Plunger requires a trip rod assembly in the lubricator to dislodge the ball from the sleeve and to prevent the sleeve from dropping until the well is cycled closed for a minimal time.

Falls against flow and a lubricator trip rod is required.
