Plunger Tracking

An Echometer or Acoustic Well Sounder can be used for Plunger Lift Tracking. The key events of a plunger lift cycle are monitored. The Kaizen Optimization Technician will perform plunger tracking to acquire all the relevant events of a cycle to determine optimization opportunities. Plunger Lift Tracking can remove the guess work of setting plunger fall times. Accurate fall time measurement can increase gas production by reducing shut in time. Monitoring Casing, Tubing and Line pressures with Plunger Tracking can also provide the optimum after flow period. Plunger Tracking results in efficient management of plunger cycles ensuring plunger runs are made and sales time is maximized.
