Conventional Mandrels
Conventional Mandrels
The primary function of a conventional gas lift mandrel is to hold and position gas lift valves within the tubing string at specific depths. Gas lift valves are typically installed on the outside of the conventional mandrel and are not retrievable without pulling the tubing. The tubing internal diameter of the conventional mandrel allows plungers to cycle as part of Gas Assisted Plunger Lift (GAPL).
